The Veil between worlds is said to be its thinnest on Halloween night. These pieces are a tribute to The Veil.
My signature sterling silver skulls have been adorned with petaled crowns. Each crown is hand carved in a unique pattern meant to mimic the organic and unruly pattern of Marigold petals. The same textures and patterns surround each stone, as well as the cutout on the back of each stone.
Marigold represent the connection between life and death. They are said to attract the souls of the dead.
I've used fossilized wood in these pieces to show the beauty that lies in the after life. These fossils were once living trees, and now live on as gorgeous fossils. The pits that are seen in the stones are tiny little caves coated in natural crystals. Little geodes bouncing back light from the darkness.
These three pairs are unique. Each pair will come tucked into their own wooden coffin.
