I’ve been on such a long journey with this painting.
The original was born from emotion. A single flower blooming away from the viewer. The disappointment of its decision to not look you in the face and smile. The audacity for it to bloom in its own direction. For it to be more concerned with its own growth than showing off for you.

And so it was stitched up in its dark place, as unacceptable things are. Surrounded by the gleam and glow of all the beauty of the appropriate world.
This was originally painted by me. Then professionally printed on matte archival paper. I re-painted on each one to bring them back to life. Metallic paints reflect in the light.
